A Society aims to promote an understanding of Ireland's role in a globe, also when promoting an understanding of international organisations like the European Parliament and the United Nations.

A Society tries to achieve these goals by inviting swell known Irish politicians & International Relations experts to speak at Society Meetings & by sending Student Delegations to Model United Nations Conferences around the area of the world; in Boston, Up to date York, Inl& northwest, London, Belfast and Vienna. A Society likewise organises & hosts International Model United Nations Conferences for Universities & National Model United Nations Conferences for 2nd Level (/High) Schools.

Its founder, Laura O' Connor occurs when BA (History & Politics) student & is serving her 2nd term as Society Auditor. More members of the original committee include Anna Ryan, Cian Cotter, David Murphy, Sarah Steacy, Sive Thomson, Melanie Corr, Stephen Spillane & Ciara Sweeney & their degree courses ranged from either ''BA's to BSc. Government & Public Policy''.
